Financial Reporting Associate

Byrne Zizzi is seeking an experienced, self-motivated, full-time financial reporting associate to join our team. This is an opportunity that will allow the right candidate to offer our clients much more than data in a report, such as providing actionable feedback and specifically tailored advice for each client’s needs.

Primary responsibilities:

Prepare and review client financial statements
Effectively navigate the various software programs and tools used by the firm
Meet productivity and efficiency standards
Seeks to exceed internal and client expectations
Complete all aspects of accounting engagements for clients, such as write-up, payroll and sales/use tax
Execute solid understanding of accounting principles and general tax regulations
Desire to grow professionally within the firm

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field is required
A current CPA license or CPA eligible working towards obtaining license
Ability to work effectively with others and enhance team-oriented environment
Tech savvy; ability to embrace and learn new technology with ease
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills

Location: Tupelo, Oxford, Houston, or Aberdeen, Mississippi
