Byrne Zizzi is seeking an experienced, self-motivated, full-time tax senior to join our team. This is an opportunity to finally go beyond the numbers and do something different by providing a solid tax strategy for clients and truly making a difference in their lives.

Primary responsibilities:

Prepare complex federal and state tax returns
Review and organize tax information supplied by client
Effectively navigate the various software programs and tools used by the firm
Recognize, anticipate and resolve tax issues; make recommendations to management team
Promote firm services to existing and prospective clients
Meet productivity and efficiency standards
Seeks to exceed internal and client expectations
Interact with the clients during projects
Desire to grow professionally within the firm

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field is required
3+ years tax experience at a CPA firm is preferred
A current CPA license or CPA eligible working towards obtaining license
Ability to work effectively with others and enhance team-oriented environment
Tech savvy; ability to embrace and learn new technology with ease
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills

Location: Tupelo, Oxford, Houston, or Aberdeen, Mississippi
